Hint: Don't take English language cues from Donald Trump.

Must be thinking of someone else. I know bolton is hard core that way, but AI from google says he says it right:

Quote :
"While there isn't a single viral clip of Trump mispronouncing "negotiate," his speech often features distinctive pronunciations and emphasis, but generally, he pronounces "negotiate" (ne-go-she-ate) and "negotiation" (ne-go-she-ay-shun) similarly to standard English, though sometimes with heavy stress on the first syllable (NEG-o-she-ate) or a drawn-out 'a' sound in negotiation, fitting his characteristic style. "

I always pronounced that "app-ah-latch-in"

Never liked the "app-ah-lay-chin" pronunciation

That's because the "lay" pronunciation is demonstrably wrong

Probably also uses a lot of extra "u"s in words and "s" where he should use "z".
