I feel like getting drunk under 21 is fun and cool. but doing it when you're legal is basically being an alcoholic

I didn't drink until I was 21, because it's like, . . . the law.

I rarely drink now except at business dinners, special family dinners, or with friends. And I cut myself off before I'm ever close to drunk, because I'm an adult.

I'm 1 month 16 days 14 hours since drinking. Still feels like a phase rather than a permanent decision. Similar to quitting smoking in that regard. Took like 3 months to kinda finally realize i wasn't a smoker anymore. App says I've saved ~250 on booze since quitting.
