"Just feed them [opossums] cat food i imagine?"

Exactly!

Since we already had cats, it was easy.

They were cool animals. They had their own enclosed room in the barn with climbing ramps and a dead tree of a type of wood that doesn't rot. They also liked fruit a lot. Apple slices and such. Omnivores! They're very soft, and they aren't dirty or diseased. Since these were hand-reared, they wouldn't try to bite you. Don't recommend trying to pet wild ones.

I'll have to check the timeline with my parents.

But you know it's not uncommon for animals that are kept protected and sheltered inside and fed regularly to live longer than wild counterparts who face many more threats.

Quote :
"What is the most south a polar bear has ever been spotted?"

The southernmost documented polar bear observation appears to be near Lac Saint-Jean, Quebec, Canada, in 1938, at roughly 48°40' N latitude. The bear was reportedly shot on the lake’s north shore. A pan-Arctic polar bear monitoring report specifically identifies this as likely the southernmost observation on record.

For perspective:

* ~48.7° N — Lac Saint-Jean, Quebec (1938): likely southernmost individual ever documented.
* ~50° N — Gulf of St. Lawrence: occasional wandering bears have been recorded there, usually associated with unusually heavy pack ice.
* ~53° N — James Bay: this is the southernmost place polar bears actually live regularly/year-round, including denning on Akimiski Island.

Interestingly, 48°40' N is about the same latitude as Paris, so that 1938 bear was extraordinarily far south by polar-bear standards.

https://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=637264&page=8 explain the last post about iis pool reclycling

Quote :
"Basically, qntmfred is saying The Wolf Web’s occasional apparent “reset” usually isn’t something he deliberately triggers. It happens because Microsoft IIS automatically recycles the application pool running the site.

Think of the IIS application pool as the container/process that keeps TWW’s web application running. Every so often IIS shuts down that process and starts a fresh one. Recycling can happen because of configured intervals, memory limits, configuration changes, server maintenance, crashes, or other IIS conditions. That’s why he describes the timing as partly deterministic but mostly seeming “random” from a user’s perspective.

The important part for TWW is that it apparently stores some information in the web application’s memory (“InProc”). When the application pool gets recycled, that memory disappears. Microsoft specifically notes that ASP.NET InProc session data is lost when the application/domain restarts—the documentation qntmfred linked is about exactly this problem.

So, simplified:

IIS: “Time to restart TWW’s application process.”
? old process shuts down
? anything stored only in RAM disappears
? fresh TWW process starts
? Chatterbox/TWW state appears to have reset

When he says he can reset it manually but rarely does, he’s distinguishing him intentionally restarting things from IIS doing its normal automatic recycling. And when he says he can delay/prevent it “in some ways,” he means IIS has configuration options controlling recycling, but the site apparently isn’t engineered so that preventing recycling is essential to keeping that state alive.

In other words, the reset you’re noticing is basically a side effect of TWW keeping certain temporary information in RAM instead of somewhere persistent like a database."

About to ask it to summarize that into like 100 words

You're biasing the answer with the starting assumption that Venezuelans are in fact more educated.

Can you find the comic strip where the wife catches her husband in bondage.. but he's holding their wedding photo

Worked for 3m 13s

Yes — I’m pretty sure I found it.

It’s a four-panel comic that was reposted to r/funny in May 2020 as “This is beautiful.” The comments explicitly discuss the husband being into masochism/using a ball gag while looking at their wedding photo, and there’s even a hamster in the scene.

https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/gj4z50

And amusingly, someone else went looking for exactly this comic in 2023, describing it almost word-for-word: wife walks in, sees husband with a ball gag doing something kinky, gets upset, notices he’s holding their wedding photo, and the last panel is them hugging.

I haven't been able to identify the original artist/source yet; the 2020 Reddit post appears to be a repost.

"What is the modle of the left and right tesla. I think the one on the right looks better"

Answer after a lot more thinking than i expected but maybe cause i was barely on wifi?

Quote :
"Yep — these are two different Tesla models:

* Left: Tesla Model Y — the taller crossover/SUV. You can tell from the higher roofline, hatchback shape, and black lower bumper/wheel-arch trim.
* Right: Tesla Model 3 — the lower, sleeker sedan. Specifically, this appears to be the 2024+ refreshed “Highland” Model 3, recognizable from the thin C-shaped rear lights and T E S L A lettering across the trunk.

I can see why you’d prefer the right one. From this angle, the Model 3 is noticeably lower and wider-looking, with a cleaner rear end. The Model Y on the left has that taller, more rounded crossover shape.

So basically: left = practical/taller Model Y; right = sportier-looking Model 3."
