Wonder exactly how these are graded etc. Like "treatment of family", Bengals get F-(which is a funny grade anyways), wonder exactly what that means. How did NO get D- for food. Stuff like that

What makes Panthers weight room suck compared to others, etc

Maybe the Panthers players only get to use black weight stacks, while other teams get to use weights and barbells with official team colors and bumper plates?

These grades come from the NFLPA’s annual Player Team Report Cards, and they’re not performance-based at all.
They are survey results from players, compiled and released by the NFL Players Association to evaluate each team’s workplace environment.

Here’s exactly how they’re graded:

? How the NFLPA Report Card Grades Are Calculated
1. Anonymous Player Surveys

Thousands of current NFL players fill out a detailed questionnaire.

Participation is voluntary but extremely high (over 1,700 players responded in 2024).

Players rate different aspects of their team using a letter-grade scale.

2. Categories Players Evaluate

The categories in your image come straight from the NFLPA survey:

Category What Players Are Actually Rating
Coach Communication, respect, trust, game-day management, and whether players feel the coach maximizes their success.
Owner Willingness to invest in facilities, staffing, and resources for players.
Food Quality, variety, availability of meals and snacks at team facilities.
Travel Team plane, seating arrangements, hotel quality, roommate policies, recovery time.
Weight Room Size, quality of equipment, space, staffing (strength coaches).
Treatment of Family Team-provided daycare, family support, tickets, accessibility, perks on game day.
3. Grades Represent Averages

Players rate each category numerically (similar to a 1–5 or 1–10 scale).

The NFLPA then converts the averages into letter grades:

A+, A, A-

B+, B, B-

etc.

4. Overall Team Ranking

The NFLPA combines all category grades to create:

Rankings 1–32

“Best places to play” lists

“Worst places to play” lists

The purpose is to apply pressure on team ownership to improve working conditions.

?? Examples of What Impacts Grades
High Grades Usually Mean:

New or renovated practice facilities

High-quality cafeterias with full-time chefs

Private travel seating (no roommates)

Modern weight rooms

Family accommodations like daycare and better ticket policies

Coaches who communicate clearly and treat players like partners

Low Grades Usually Mean:

Old locker rooms or facilities

Poor food quality / limited availability

Outdated travel setups (commercial flights, cramped seats)

Lack of family support

Coaches who are disliked or don’t communicate

Owners who cut corners financially

?? Why It Matters

Players use these grades when considering:

Free-agency decisions

Whether to re-sign with their team

Whether a team is investing in them as human beings

Owners hate bad report cards, so these surveys create public pressure.

^wonder why the 2 best teams out of the last 25 years are ranked so low. Perhaps the higher ranked teams should stop coddling their players

They should increase the penalty for illegal formation to 10 yards, bet it would clean itself up real quick

[Edited on November 27, 2025 at 1:39 PM. Reason : Its almost worth taking it in some situations i bet]

From some sports page on fb called sportskeeda. Its similar to a discussion treetwista and justin were having about bryce young contract

Quote :
"NFL insider Albert Breer notes the Indianapolis Colts could franchise tag QB Daniel Jones in 2026 to see how his Achilles rehab goes — but the projected QB tag is around $46M, more than triple his current $14M deal.

Tagging him would give Jones leverage to push for a long-term deal in the $50M per year range if he bounces back.

So the Colts now have to make a choice:

-Pay a $46M one-year tag for a QB coming off a torn Achilles.

-Commit long-term at elite money.

-Or let him test the market and hope to find common ground at a lower number."

Man this is a tough one I think

Yeah Daniel Jones you just let walk. He was already starting to revert back to ass prior to the injury. No reason to repeat the giants mistake of giving him a huge contract for a small sample size of good play

You don't usually give the franchise tag to someone who currently has a major injury
