If you want my guess, the Trump administration is going to militarily attack our neighbor and ally, Mexico.

It will make no one safer. It will hurt innocent people. It will attempt to distract from the fact that he's in the Epstein files 1 million times and that the Epstein files include accounts of torture, murder, and even cannibalism.

Cartel drones entered US airspace

So they say. Or is that a manufactured pretext?

Maybe. Or maybe obfuscation of what the actual reason was. I wouldn't think you'd close airspace for 10 days for drone incursions.

Why announce it's closed for 10 days... then reopen it the next day? Why not just say it was closed until further notice, or something like that?

From the New York Times,

""Representative Veronica Escobar, an El Paso Democrat, said in a news conference that the explanation citing Mexican drones crossing the border as the reason for the closure was “not the information that we in Congress have been told.” She said that there was no current or past threat to the area. “There’s no threat. There was not a threat, which is why the F.A.A. lifted this restriction so quickly,” she said. “The information coming from the administration does not add up.”

Veronica Escobar, the congresswoman representing El Paso, pushed back on the drone explanation given by Trump administration officials: “There have been drone incursions from Mexico going back to as long as drones existed. So this is nothing new,” she said at a news conference. “The drone incursion from Mexico — obviously not something any of us want to see. But this is not unusual, and there was nothing extraordinary about any drone incursion into the U.S. that I’m aware of.”"

Wow… I guess best case scenario they were going entirely based on radar signature?

But why the 10 day shutdown— I’m guessing if it was actually a drone they were intending to create a spectacle with the fiasco of an airport shutdown

The 10 day thing is real bizarre. For reference, after 9/11 and after Venezuela operation it was like a day. Thats what made me think it was some ISIS type terrorism plot. Or perhaps someone not fully on board with admin that knew shutting down for 10 days would get eyes on something that would otherwise get lost? Or maybe they legit thought this lazer would have lingering effects and didn't want a plane to crash?

I feel like I could go on and on, but definitely seems like something more to be told.

Or maybe just a distraction from Epstein/Pam Blondi

Listen to Gary Kasparov, prominent thinker, World Chess Champion, Russian dissident and witness to tyranny, on this-Trump and Hegseth urging the Generals to prepare to go into American cities, Trump's publicly expressed desire to nationalize elections, Bannon confirming ICE will flood the polls in blue states and key precincts, the murders of American citizens, defiance of Court orders, ICE overfunded like no other secret police force in history, Trump's bulging Qatar bank account for Venezuelan oil revenues, huge government purchases of warehouses and land for massive detention centers never before needed despite a rate of deportations on par with Obama, and a Justice Dept that is sharply focused on Trump grievances, rewriting history, revenge and decimating the rule of law??? "THIS IS NOT A DRILL"!

Pretty significant statement from trumps former attorney.

One of the most damaging and corrosive things to our economy. Insane amounts of wealth are downstream of scientific discovery (ai, autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, medical treatments, energy, climate etc)

You're missing the big picture. We NEED that money to deport illegals and to intimidate Americans.

This is so not normal. How could anyone support this?

Quote :
"Of all the ways President Trump has pushed the boundaries of executive power, one stands out to lawyers and watchdogs.

The president wants the government he leads to pay him billions of dollars.

Trump has filed multiple claims arguing he's been hurt by Justice Department investigations and the leak of his tax returns years ago. Now it's up to his own political appointees to determine whether to settle with their boss — and for how much taxpayer money.

"There is a glaring conflict of interest with Trump being on both sides of the claim," said Edward Whelan, a former lawyer at the Justice Department and a political conservative who once clerked for the late Justice Antonin Scalia. "It is outrageous that he and those answering to him would be deciding how the government responds to these extravagant claims.""

Trump has made extrajudicial executions the norm now. Going to take a lot of work to unwind this

On one side of the spectrum teachers are reporting racial bullying at record levels, and the other side nations no longer value ethics or decorum or international cooperation.

Denying medicaid funding to Minnesota, add to a long list of impeachable offenses. Why should Minnesota submit tax dollars to the federal government?

I think he's saying that Trump's policy of murdering people outside of our jurisdiction without due process is likely to lead other nations to adopt a similar policy toward US nationals in their territory

just more of Trump making everyone less safe (except pedophiles - they are still safe)

Kind of regret not voting for Trump after him breaking the status quo with Venezuela and Iran. We needed a change agent like this
