"Sydney sweeneys new movie christie is going to bomb so hard"

I saw an interview with Sydney Sweeney on the Late Show earlier this week, and honestly what is really the attraction? Sounds like an ignorant hick with a horrible laugh. Even physically, she seems at best mid-pack by female celebrity standards. She got them Sheldon Williams wide set eyes.

Caught the new Frankenstein last night. Reviewers are heaping praise on it, and to use my daughter’s parlance, I found it very “mid”. It wasn’t bad, but it felt like just another Frankenstein movie.

Last weekend rewatched Skyfall on YouTube. Best Bond movie ever, period. At least in the Daniel Craig era.

^^^She is rivalry against Zendaya according to the rumors. I prefer to her much more. Really not a fan of Zendaya.

Nuremberg was ok. Never really got super captivating though. Thought they could have done better with malek and crowes relationship. Felt like the movie didn't meet the moment. Didn't have the gravitas it should have. Didn't really get into the psyche of the nazis like I had hoped. But it was ok.

Watching pleasantville for the first time in probably 25-26 years. I'm trying to figure out what the message is. Its like they are promoting free will, individualism etc. But such a stupid premise.

Same. Same movie I've seen a hundred times except this time the monster has Wolverine healing powers.

I disagree with tarantino on there will be blood being weaker than it could have been due to paul dano. I think he was pretty good in that role!

He probably thought that movie needed more feet

Also Paul Dano is weird and off-putting, but he was good in that role

Yeah but like they get sucked into a tv and stuff. Do all that social commentary with a better idea. The 90s were such a crazy time to be alive!

[Edited on December 3, 2025 at 4:49 PM. Reason : He was good in prisoners role too]

I loved Ready or Not - I was definitely pleasantly surprised. I’m stoked for part 2. Probably one of the few movies I’ll try to go see in the theater next year.
