The main difference vs uva, Duke and us is that we played 5 of the top 7 acc teams. Duke played 2 and UVA played 1. We were also UVAs strongest OOC opponent.

I realize it’s a rare situation to intentionally take a safety but that feels like an end of game situation that you practice or at least have a plan for. And that seems like we didn’t have a plan. Under DD I've come to expect to lose games like this. Was pleasantly surprised to see we might win after all. Of course we lost.

I get losing but damn, can we lose but not give players on the opponent's teams career best games and lose but not in a fashion where it's the #1 "look at these dumbasses" plays of the week?

Again, don't know that the AD has the stones to fire DD but maybe DD can save us from himself and decide to retire or something.

With the career best comment I wasn't talking about this game. I think some people put up career stats in that Virginia game. There are always several games every season where we give our opponents career days.
