Four kids! I have three and I think if 4 became a possibility my wife would walk into the ocean. 3 is so much harder than 2. How did you talk yourself into 4? What's your craziest zone defense story?

I had a kid crying and as he was crying my other kid slipped and fell and started crying. As I was tending to both of them the 1 year old grabbed the biggest knife from the kitchen and said. Nif, nif and running towards us with it.

The jump from 1-2 was the worst imo, it was so much more than double the work. I can’t really think of any crazy horror stories? Maybe if there are multiple sick at once? All ours are girls, so they weren’t super hard as littles. This year is an even year - we’ll have a 10, 12, 14, 16 year old once November rolls around. They are all really awesome and great kids, putting the work in during those early years (special shout out to the wife - she’s incredible for staying home and doing the lions share of that) really pays dividends now. There are people at work who have said in the past that their kids are a nightmare or punk’s to be around and I’m just like, “…can’t relate” lol

Never been attacked with a nif, though.
